However later I opened the phone and decided to go to EDL mode and do test point method which was successful. Since then I flashed a few roms and got stuck in boot loop. I decided to lock the bootloader after which my data was erased. I bought mi note 5 and I wanted to install netflix which wasn't available in the play store because the bootloader was unlocked by default.
